The Whispering Giant
The Trail of the Whispering Giants is a series of sculptures by Peter Wolf Toth. Toth had a goal of one giant in every state.
In 1981 the Whispering Giant in Valdez was the 40th sculpture placed along Toths trail. By 2009 there had be 74 giants placed around the world.
This giant still stands along Pioneer Drive among a grove of spruce trees.
